Computing for Beginners



If you have never or seldom used a computer. If you feel frightened, nervous and baffled by the Internet and Email! Then we are here to help. We will show you how to set up an e-mail, how to create, print and save a document, and how to search the internet. These are hands on courses and are designed for individuals with no computer experience. A great first step toward computer literacy. Students can choose from Monday or Tuesday General Computing classes or an Internet and Email class on Fridays.





Venue - Ingestre Road Community Centre.
Term - Winter
Days - Monday, Tuesday and Friday.




We run two types of Beginners Courses.

Introduction to General Computing.
An introduction to Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Monday - 10am - 12.30pm and 1.00pm - 3.30pm.
Tuesday - 10am - 12.30pm and 1.00pm - 3.30pm.

We also run an Introduction to Internet and Email course.

Friday - 10.00am - 12.30pm


Our new term begins on Monday 11th January 2010
NOTE. Half Term - No Classes - Mon 15th to. Fri 19th. Feb. 2010
