Phoenix Karate School (PKS) here at Ingestre offers a safe, happy and encouraging environment where your children will learn self defence, learn how to deal with other kids at school as well as developing personal discipline and confidence while getting active, having fun and making new friends.
PKS classes are dynamic and fun and they suit everyone. We never focus on ONE thing but make sure the classes are well rounded, incorporating fitness activities, self defence skills, basic techniques and games.
PKS Chief Instructor, Sensei Kingsley Johnson, designs all the classes and ensures they are a good mix of high energy, fitness and fun. He has over 30 years experience in various martial arts. He currently holds the rank of 4th Dan in Shotokan and Gojuryu Karate, and has spent many years adapting the traditional Goju and Shotokan Karate exercises and techniques to suit the young students' of today. He is author of the book Junior Karate available from Amazon.
